and his whole circus family. Young Corky finds his place as water boy to "Bimbo" the elephant.

Corky rode his baby elephant Bimbo, dealt with his adolescent problems, and helped the adults

with the circus as the show moved from town to town each week.

Father Knows Best Reunion (1977) was one of the most beloved situation comedies of the 1950s. Happily, all the cast members of the original FKB were still around to show up in this TV-movie reunion. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Jim and Margaret Anderson (Robert Young and Jane Wyatt), the Anderson kids interrupt their busy adult schedules to attend the festivities. To bring you up to date, Betty (Elinor Donahue), aka "Princess," is now a widowed mother; Kathy (Laurin Chapin), better known as "Kitten," is a single woman dating an older man; and Bud (Billy Gray) is a motorcycle racer. Intended as the pilot for a new series, Father Knows Best posted good ratings when it was first telecast May 15, 1977, but sponsor and network interest were not forthcoming.



Father Knows Best: Home for Christmas (1977) was the second of three TV pilot films for a proposed (and abandoned) revival of the 1950s sitcom classic Father Knows Best. Robert Young, Jane Wyatt, Elinor Donahue, Billy Gray and Laurin Chapin reprise their old TV roles as the Anderson family. Jim and Margaret Anderson (Young and Wyatt), facing the prospect of celebrating Christmas alone, are further depressed by the possibility of having to sell their home. Their children Betty, Bud and Kathy (Donahue, Gray and Chapin), now grown and pursuing their own lives, drop what they're doing to rally around their parents. Father Knows Best: Home for Christmas was slightly more realistic than its 1950s inspiration, but Sentiment wins out over Truth once more.

Written, directed and produced by the local sheriff who calls upon his 65 year old elderly mother to portray the mother of the 8 year old girl. Worse yet, her acting skills border on non existant. Police officers also are stiff when reading their lines. A TRUE CAMPY TREASURE!

The plot revolved around an ancient extraterrestrial named Bennu of the Golden Light, who is discovered in a sarcophagus in Peru and awakened in the 20th Century. Bennu displays superhuman abilities and behaves in a manner meant to represent an enlightened culture (kind, nonviolent, environmentally responsible, etc.). Johnny Ringo was a Western television series starring Don Durant that aired on CBS from October 1, 1959, until June 30, 1960. It was loosely based on the life of the notorious gunfighter Johnny Ringo, who tangled with Wyatt Earp, John "Doc" Holliday, and "Buckskin" Franklin Leslie.

This fictional account had Ringo putting aside his gunfighting ways to become the sheriff of a small town. He had a deputy named Cully, played by Mark Goddard, and a girlfriend, Laura Thomas, portrayed by Karen Sharpe.

The program was an early creation of Aaron Spelling for Four Star Television. Spelling created Johnny Ringo at the specific request of Dick Powell as a role for Durant. It was filmed at CBS Studio Center.

HANSEL AND GRETEL FIRE SAFETY (1976)

Our beloved folk heroes Hansel and Gretel enter the witch's cottage and become obscenely demanding with ridiculous fire safety tips! Enjoy the weirdness as Hansel STOPS DROPS AND ROLLS around on the ground. Quite creepy to see a puppet perform such non puppetistic feats! Also on the docket: extremely bizarre scene where Hansel gets imprisoned in a puppet cage while the witch calmly converses with the puppet version of Gretel. Puppet bondage at it's zenith!

MAX WHO (1975)

More disturbing puppetry follows in this fascinating short film.......not quite sure what purpose this one serves other than to confuse and titilate. Set among a bohemian puppet makers loft, we view a very mentally disturbed 30-something female puppet maker interact with quite a few creepy creations. So bizarre, it must be seen to be believed......especially thrilling scenes ensue showing masterful and mentally deranged ways to create hand puppets out of 1970's coffee filters.......ABSOLUTELY STELLARIFIC! Quite possibly this was an ill fated attempt to sell coffee filters? Not quite sure!

FOR THE LOVE OF FRED (1970)

Massive early 70's PUPPETPALOOZA this one is! Many a creepy animal puppet star in cheesy children's story about a lonely caterpillar named Fred, and his puppet buddies attempts to turn him into a butterfly. Especially exciting is the lonely chipmunk who gets berated by everyone in the neighborhood......poor chipmunk, did that bratty puppet just knock over your laundry basket.......Also thrill to the terribly bad copy cat version of Sesame Street's own Big Bird.....this bird looks like it just flew in from a polluted New Jersey skyline. QUITE DISTURBING FOOTAGE!

The Sixth Sense was an American paranormal thriller television series featuring Gary Collins and Catherine Ferrar. Based on the 1971 television movie Sweet, Sweet Rachel, the series was broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) from January 1972 through December 1972

Collins is featured as Dr. Michael Rhodes, a professor of parapsychology who, along with his assistant Nancy Murphy (Ferrar), attempts to solve supernatural mysteries. Sandra Dee, William Shatner, Lee Majors, Cloris Leachman, Joan Crawford, Patty Duke, and Jane Wyman guest-featured in individual episodes.

The series, which was broadcast during Saturday nights at 10 pm, had tough competition against CBS's Mission: Impossible and NBC's Banyon. Despite mediocre ratings, The Sixth Sense was renewed for a second season mainly due to the well-known guest actors it featured. However, ratings continued to decrease and ABC canceled The Sixth Sense on November 14, 1972. ABC broadcast the remaining episodes through December 1972.

The show was produced by Ivan Tors (Daktari) and the underwater footage was shot in various warm water places around the world; from California to Australia, from the Caribbean to the Florida Keys. Mike Nelson hunted down criminals from the undersea underworld and ran afoul of sharks, manta rays, octopuses and giant sea turtles.

The experienced skin diver also went after salvage and did rescues. Whenver danger or excitement lurked below the surface, Mike Nelson was ready for action.
